Buds opening at the vineyard

Our vineyard is slowly waking up, with the first buds emerging at our Chenôvre plot. Nestled at the top of the Savigny-lès-Beaune plateau, this preserved area extends across 16 hectares and is home to a range of varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Aligoté and Pinot Gris.

The highly awaited time of year, budbreak, has arrived, marking the end of the vines’ dormant period over winter.

The buds swell before bursting open, liberating a delicate, downy fluff that the vine sheds to allow the first green leaves to unfurl
