Perle Rouge revives the tradition of sparkling Burgundy wines that were created in the 19th century and gained popularity on the tables of the Belle Epoque.
This wine, which seems so unusual today, celebrates this heritage. At that time appellations d’origine contrôlée (in which there are strict rules about what can be produced) did not exist, and every appellation for red and white wines alike, made sparkling versions, even the Grands Crus, without so much as a blush!

A powerful, full-bodied wine with a highly original character. Vermilion red colour with glints of violet. The nose offers wild, fruity aromas, with delicate notes of blackcurrant buds and then scents of jam and fruit in brandy. The palate is rich in red fruit and well balanced with a subtle dosage.
This wine is produced in a limited edition of 3,829 bottles, using the traditional method. The main grape is Pinot Noir, the king of Burgundy, with a touch Gamay.
Daring pairings: Perle Rouge reveals its sparkling character with grilled foods and blood sausage, or red fruit tarts, and especially with chocolate!
This wine is made according to the specifications of the Bourgogne Mousseux Rouge AOC. Ageing for 30 months on racks before disgorging.
