It's veraison time!

Deep within our vineyards, our grapes are changing colour: it’s veraison time!

The grape ripen in the sun, the pinot noir turning dark purple, almost black, and the chardonnay turning gold.
In this way, each grape berry is prepared to reveal its unique aromas.s.

Veraison is an indicator for our crop managers. From this moment, they evaluate the maturity of the grapes by tasting them, measuring the sugar level, and observing the texture of the pips. All of these will help them determine the optimal time to harvest.
